Counter Attendant for Medlin-Davis Cleaners. Job responsibilities include stocking inventory,
preparing merchandise for purchase or rental, greeting customers and ascertain what each customer
wants or needs, opening and closing cash registers, performing tasks such as counting money,
separating charge slips, coupons, and vouchers, balancing cash drawers, and making deposits.

An in-cabin Counselor Assistant at Quaker Lake Camp. Job responsibilities include the management
and care of ten children, aged 8-10 and 11-13 for the span of several weeks in a variety of activities.

Current student at Enloe High School. Advanced courses include AP World History, AP United States
History, AP English III, AP United States Government and Politics, AP Statistics. Other courses include
Drafting I, Architecture II, Engineering II and III, Italian I and II, and Sci-Vis I and II.

ENLOE YOUNG PATRIOTS CLUB SECRETARY OF PUBLIC RELATIONS • 2017 - PRESENT
I helped created this club that is geared towards community service and outreach. Our goal is to be
nonpartisan and focus on patriotism and the love for our country.
NATIONAL HISTORY DAY CLUB PRESIDENT • 2015 - PRESENT
I joined this club in my 9th grade year and I have since taken over as President of this organization.
The club is a competition geared towards a major theme for the year. I have competed in the
competition several times and I have placed in the regional competitions.

UBER NERD CLUB CO-PRESIDENT • 2015 - PRESENT
I created this club in 2015 and took the role as Co-President. This club was created to entertain the
students of Enloe who also love all things nerdy.

AWARDS AND HONORS

2ND PLACE REGIONAL WINNER • NATIONAL HISTORY DAY IN NORTH CAROLINA • MARCH 2015
My partner and I won the 2nd place award for my documentary about the African Dictator, Mobutu
Sese Seko. Through the documentary process, we conducted an interview with Michela Wrong, an
author and expert on the Democratic People’s Republic of the Congo and Mobutu Sese Seko.

3RD PLACE REGIONAL WINNER • NATIONAL HISTORY DAY IN NORTH CAROLINA • APRIL 2016
My partner and I won 3rd place in the regional National History Day competition with our
documentary on the history and development of the modern Cochlear Implant. We conducted
interviews with Dr. Graeme Clark and Professor Blake S. Wilson, two of the creators of the Cochlear
Implant. We also interviewed Professor Jeffery P. Braden, the Dean of the College of Humanities and
Social Sciences at North Carolina State University.

1ST PLACE WINNER • S.H.E.D DESIGN CHALLENGE • JANUARY 2017 - APRIL 2017
I was the 1st place winner of the 2017 S.H.E.D Design Challenge. The competition was between eight
WCPSS high schools. This experience was created through a joint partnership between Wake County
Public School’s CTE Department and the Associated Builders and Contractors of NC (ABC). The
challenge was to design a functional shed to the specifications provided, as well as complete it by the
deadline. The winning design was built at Cary High School, and the sheds were auctioned off.

PARTICIPANT • REDHAT DESIGN BLITZ • MARCH 2017
I was one of about 120 design and engineering students from 11 Wake County high schools who
participated at the Red Hat Annex in Raleigh about how to use wearable technology to solve
problems. The objective was to create a piece of wearable technology that solved a modern problem
in the time allotted for the challenge.

STUDENT • STARTUP HIGH SUMMER PROGRAM • JULY 2015
A weeklong summer innovation program involving innovation immersion for high school students, as
well as curriculum and consulting to schools and districts. Program activities included consulting with
local business owners, as well as developing our own innovation project.

MEMBER • NATIONAL TECHNICAL HONOR SOCIETY • SEPTEMBER 2016-PRESENT
I am currently a member of the National Technical Honor Society organization. The goal is to get 18
hours of community service by the end of senior year. Several activities included tutoring, being a
teacher assistant, helping with career and CTE fairs, etc.
